ReSource Depot

The ReSource Depot is one of the programs of the Island Green Living Association (IGLA).  Our goal is to provide an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of the landfill, and put back in use. Reusing the material saves it from being sourced and shipped here again.   It also creates affordable building materials for the community with a savings that can be 50-80 percent below retail costs.

This project has already impacted the level of discarded construction waste on St. John and the Territory.   Since the start of operation, we have diverted over 225,000 pounds of reusable materials from the waste stream.
